Dato’ Ngiam Foon, a veteran travel professional, is also the Past President of MATTA and an experienced digital transformation consultant in tourism and travel businesses.

He has over 30 years of experience in the travel industry, covering the full range of travel businesses. He also previously headed the local franchisee travel companies for Amex GBT, BCD Travel and Europcar businesses.

Dato’ Ngiam has served as Board member of the Malaysian Tourism Board, Co-Chairman of the Focus Group on Tourism Services under the Malaysia Services Development Council, President of Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), as well as Industry Advisory Board Member for Sunway University. He was also an independent Senior Director & Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee of a KLSE listed company.

Given his wealth of experience, foresight and ability to always be a few steps ahead, he will be sharing some very informative insights about international mobility from the perspective of technology provider as well as the perspective of a traveller which may help those involved in international marketing, including the higher education industry.

Tina Yeung is an experienced professional with over 25 years experience in International Higher Education. She has held positions as Associate Director of the University of Sheffield South East Asia Office based in Kuala Lumpur, including holding positions on the International Advisory Board for Sheffield University Management School. From 2004 - 2018 she sat on the board of the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce including positions as Trustee Governor of the Alice Smith International School, as Deputy to MICCI on the Academic Industry Consultative Council, on the board of the Malaysian Services Development Council, as a participant in the National Advisory Council on Education and Training, and Director of the German Malaysia Institute, a MARA funded training agency. In 2014 Tina Founded the Windsor Learning Centre and Transnational Education. She also currently heads the SI-UK Malaysia office which is trusted global education consultancy with 70 offices worldwide. She is also an active member of the Rotary Club and has served as president on three occasions.

Ms Yeung believes in guiding students to make an informed choice when choosing a place to study abroad and is keen to offer quality education services to young people so that they can achieve their dreams.

Dr. Amran Rasli is a Professor at the Faculty of Business and Communication at Inti International University. He was formerly a professor at the Azman Hashim International Business School, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He has graduated 54 PhD students from UTM, 1 PhD student from Asia E University, 2 PhD students from University of Southern Australia; 21 Master students; and 22 undergraduate students. He is the principal investigator of 15 research projects worth RM1.2 million and had headed 29 consultancy projects valued at RM1.5 million. He was the postgraduate examiner for 93 PhD, 3 DBA and 5 MSc candidates from various local and international universities. He has written almost 200 articles (80 indexed by Scopus and 29 with ISI Journal Impact Factor); 5 textbooks; 7 book chapters and 4 novels. He has delivered keynote addresses at 20 international conferences as well as conducted 44 workshops and training programs. Professor Amran was a visiting professor at various institutions notably Indian Institute of Risk Management, Hyderabad, India; Hebei University, China; Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia and Kaunas Technological University, Lithuania. He was the Vice Chancellor of SUMAIT University, Zanzibar and Deputy Council Chairman of Muslim University of Morogoro, Tanzania and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Universiti Selangor.

Abdul Latiff Bin Ahmad is the Director of the International Relations Centre (UKM Global) and an Associate Professor in the Centre of Research in Media and Communication, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He obtained his PhD in Communication Studies from University of Queensland, Australia. He is currently the Malaysian Regional Vice President for the World Communication Association. He is also a Fulbright Alumni. His research interests include intercultural communication and internationalization. He has led research grants and consultancy project from Toshiba International Foundation, Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, SHARE (European Union Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region) and the Central Bank of Malaysia.

Dr. Joseph Lee, Vice Chancellor of INTI International University, has more than 20 years of experience as a lecturer, researcher and administrator in the education industry in the United States of America, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore. His key expertise is in theoretical and empirical research focusing on education and learning from economics perspectives. Having received his doctoral degree in Economics in 1994 from Washington State University, United States, Dr Joseph has studied and integrated various concepts in economics to issues concerning e-learning, the development of private education and quality assurance in higher education. In addition to his administrative functions, Dr Joseph still maintains a strong interest in lecturing economics and business.

Professor Dr. Agustinus received his engineering degree from Universitas Gajahmada, Indonesia and completed both of his master and doctorate degree in Universitas Indonesia. He previously worked in an airline company and automotive industry before he become a full time lecturer at Universitas Tarumanagara, Indonesia where he is currently serving as the Chancellor of the university. He also holds a Primary Professional Engineer Certificate (IPU) from Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) and ASEAN Engineer Certificate (ASEAN Eng.).

Aside from education, he has been immensely involved in the various scientific activities and social activities such being the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Catholic Lecturer Association, Head of the Mechanical Vocational Agency of the PII. He has also been awarded as Honorary Member of The ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations, AFEO (2018) and the Best Chancellor of Private Universities of the Academic Leader Award Program (2019) .

Dr. Norazah Nordin is a Professor of Learning Technologies and Innovation, and currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Industry, Alumni and Community Partnership), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Her research areas include Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC), Mobile Learning, ICT in Lifelong Learning, and Instructional Design in Digital Learning. The projects that she leads include the development of Higher Education Active Learning Spaces (HEALS), a collaborative research project with the Australian Innovative University Network. The most current projects that she leads are Learning Design in the 4th Industrial Revolution and the 4IR Cross-Creative Learning Innovation for Autism. She is a University Council member of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Lifelong Learning Hub and an active member of the ASEM Research Network 1, Development of ICT Skills and the Culture of e-Learning in Lifelong Learning. Professor Dato' Dr. Norazah is also well known for her contribution in various international research projects. She spearheaded the development of Higher Education Active Learning Spaces (HEALS) project; a collaborative research project between the research universities in Malaysia, with the Australian Innovative University Network (La Trobe University and James Cook University). This research has successfully developed a framework for an active learning space that is compatible with all educational institutions, based on pedagogy, space, and technology. A leading international researcher in the digitization of education, she was recently selected by Google Education, one of the world's leading digital industries, to represent Malaysia and lead research on Google Solution applications for education in the country. She is also a member of the International Association for Blended Learning (IABL), playing an active role as a reference expert representing the Southeast Asia. She has successfully developed the world's first policy paper on blended learning known as the IABL Dubai Declaration: Blended Learning 2025. She was appointed to the Editorial Board of the Internet and Higher Education Journal, which is ranked in the Web of Science's Social Science Citation Index in Quartile One (Q1)(WoS SSCI).

Dr. Dheeba Moosa, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) at Islamic University of Maldives has the administrative portfolio to oversee, promote and facilitate all research activities at IUM. Her education has given her a strong background in TESOL, linguistics and qualitative research. She has over 20 years of experience in the field of education and higher education, more specifically teaching of English language, Linguistics and research methods at various levels. She also has strong management skills especially in dealing with people and mentoring them through application of modern leadership and management ideas like motivation, clarity in communication and easy personal inter-relations.

Dr Dheeba has contributed to the higher education sector of Maldives in many ways including the role of lecturer in both public universities in the Maldives and the Dean of IUM prior to being appointed as the DVC of IUM in 2019. She has also contributed to the formulation of Higher Education Master Plan and published a number of academic articles. She continues to engage in research. She played a key role in the publishing of IUM’s first and only academic journal “Al Manhaj: A Journal of Multidisciplinary Research” and contributed to it as the editor until 2019. Dr Dheeba is a member of National Health Research Council, International Institute of Risk Management and Crisis Strategies (IIRMACS) and Zakath Scholarship Committee in Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Maldives.

Michael T. S. Lee is University Distinguished Professor and Special Advisor to the President-International Affairs at Fu Jen Catholic University, Taipei, Taiwan. He has been the MBA program director, Dean of the Business School, and VP of International Affairs of Fu Jen Catholic University and is also the Past President of the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools (IAJBS). He obtained his Ph.D. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993. His current efforts focus on broadening the impact of FJU in the Greater China and Asia Pacific Region. Dr. Lee has published more than 100 articles in various journals and several book chapters. His major research areas are data mining, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence and has also served as the editorial board for several international renowned journals.

Mohammad AlShahhat Algindi was born 12th of December, 1949. He has graduated from Al-Azhar University, has got Doctorate degree on Islamic Law. He worked as a professor and head of the Department of Shari’a and Law at Al-Azhar University. Then he was appointed as the former Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs at Ministry of Al-Awqaf (the Arab Republic of Egypt). Now he is the Rector of Egyptian University of Islamic culture Nur-Mubarak (Almaty, Kazakhstan).

Professor Mohammad Algindi is an author of various works, such as Landmark of the political Regime in Islam in comparison with the positive Law-Dar Al-Fakr Al-Arabi, Profit (Murabaha) contract – A comparative view between Islamic Law and the Banking dealings, Family rights between Islamic Shari’sh and the personal Status’ laws etc. He has participate to scientific research conferences in United States, England, Belgium, Italy, France, Kazakhstan and other.

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan is the Founder & Chairman of Daffodil International University (DIU) & Daffodil Family. Dr. Khan has been striving to be one of the leading ICT & Education providers in Bangladesh. He started his career as an IT businessman in the early 1990ies, but soon merge his expertise in technology with his vision of quality and equitable education for all under the umbrella of the Daffodil Family. Currently, Dr. Khan is also the First Vice President of the Association of Universities of Asia & the Pacific (AUAP) and a Standing Committee Member of the Asian University President's Forum (AUPF) and a Board Member of Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS). In the field of technology, he was holding the position as Director of World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) and Chairman of Global Trade Committee of the same organisation.

Prof. Ir. Dr. Hasfalina Che Man is currently an academician at Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering (DBAE), Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical and Process Engineering, with special emphasis in Bioprocess, from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1999. Soon after, she joined UPM and started her career as a tutor for a year. She was then given the opportunity to pursue PhD, and was conferred the doctoral degree in Civil Engineering and Geosciences from University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK in 2005, specialising in Environmental Biotechnology, focusing on the applications of microorganisms for nutrient removal such as phosphorus and nitrogen from wastewater. In 2006, she began her career as a lecturer at DBAE, UPM. Since then, she has been involved in fundamental task of teaching and supervising. She had an experience to supervised (as main supervisor) for more than 90 undergraduate students, 9 Masters and 7 PhD students. She teach courses such as Agricultural Waste Management, Water Quality for Agriculture, Controlled Environment Structure, Engineering Mathematics, Agricultural Process Engineering and Environmental Biosystems. She has also served as the Final Year Project Coordinator, Internship Coordinator, Postgraduate Coordinator, and Head of Environmental Biosystem Lab. Currently, she has been appointed as Deputy Director of International Office, UPM.

Associate Prof Dr Roslee Rajikan is an associate professor and dietitian working in the Dietetics Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He is currently the Head of the Dietetics Program. Apart from giving lectures, he also handles diets for patients at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Mukriz. His research interests are focused on clinical nutrition, diet optimization using mathematical programming and diet for individuals with special needs especially developmental and intellectual disorders as well as HIV/AIDS. He is also involved in various volunteer projects involving homeless and low-income families.

Andriew Lim is Professor of Technopreneurship and Innovation at Hotelschool The Hague (Hospitality Business School), the Netherlands. He is the Chair of the research group focusing on technology innovation and entrepreneurship for the hospitality industry, in particular the influence of disruptive technology innovation on the development of entrepreneurship in the hospitality industry. His current main research topics are the implementation and impact of Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in the hospitality industry. He is also the head of HTH Entrepreneurship Hub that supports entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship in the hospitality industry. Next to his research activities, he also teaches Strategic Management and Innovative Entrepreneurship courses to the final year students, as well as supervises the final graduation projects.

Jennifer Zhang, LL.B from Peking University, is the head of Business Development for China at Cambridge Assessment English. She has more than 20 years experiences in international education promotion in China. Before joining Cambridge Assessment English, she worked for an international educational group as the country director in China for over 10 years.

R Agung Efriyo Hadi was born in Tanjungkarang 3 February 1971. Prop. Lampung. He was be a professional in engineering and worked at PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra (1997 – 2001), group of PT. Astra Honda Motor with his last position as a technical area manager of Lampung. Year 2001, he joined in Universitas Malahayati as Vice Chancellor II for General Administration and Finance. In 2005 graduated his master degree and in 2010 completed his Ph.D in mechanical engineering, both of study were at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Serdang, Malaysia. Year 2011, he has assumed the mandate as Chancellor at Universitas Abulyatama, Aceh until now. Agung was interest and studied on the field of material engineering, especially natural fiber composites, involved in the writing of some scientific papers published in international journals, as a guest speaker and as a reviewer in international journals which is still being carried out until now. On the other-hand, in perspective of business, in year 2008, Agung was a leader to established a hospital at Bandar Lampung, RS Pertamina Bintang Amin (RSPBA) which now the hospital was be a member of Indonesia Health Corporation (IHC) under an agreement managerial cooperation with PT Pertamina Bina Medika, as a subsidiary of Pertamina Persero (GLC of Oil and Gas in Indonesia). As a director of PT Rosnati, Agung in year 2015, within same concept with the hospital before, was launched the second hospital in Banda Aceh, RS. Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati (RSPUR).

Professor Kamsah is a professor in Chemical Engineering Department at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Wales Swansea. He is currently the Chair of Advancement Division of UTM looking after UTM Endowment Fund, Wakaf Fund and UTMAlumni . His past experiences in UTM include being the Dean of the Office of Undergraduate Studies, Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Chemical and Natural Resources Engineering, Deputy Dean at the Centre for Teaching and Learning, Head for the Department of Chemical Engineering, and Director of Academic Leadership and Professional Development of UTM. His areas of interest include teaching and learning issues, student development and engineering education. He has conducted many short courses on teaching and learning such as Teaching and Learning at Higher Institutions, Curriculum Design based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Effective Teaching and Assessment Methods, Inculcating and Assessing Generic Skills in Classroom Activities, Student Academic Advising, Assessment for Learning, Peer Review of Teaching and many more. He led a team who has successfully developed and orchestrated the use of eportfolio system for all UTM undergraduate students. He was the Co-Chairman of UTM 21st Century Curriculum Task Force which overseeing the transformation of all undergraduate curricula in UTM in addressing the requirement of 21st Century Society and Fourth Industrial Revolution. He is also currently the Director of SULAM Strategic Committee, a committee setup by Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia to look after the strategic implementation of Service Learning Malaysia – University for Society Network (SULAM).

Dr. Kwong is an Associate Professor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China. He has been appointed as the Faculty Director of Admissions and International Relations in the Faculty of Science and Engineering and is responsible for all admissions and international activities and policies of the faculty. He is currently the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is a UK-based Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA).

Dr. Kwong is an active member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), a UK-based and the world's second largest professional engineering institution. He has been appointed as a member of the IET Registration and Standard Committee. This committee has oversight of the IET's Fellowship Policy, Academic Accreditation, Professional Development Operations and Professional Registration. Dr. Kwong is also a Professional Review Interviewer (PRI) on behalf of the IET, interviewing candidates for Chartered Engineer and Incorporated Engineer. He is also a member of the IET Academic Accreditation Committee, where he chairs accreditation audits at universities seeking to have their academic courses recognised by the Engineering Council of UK.

Anita is the founder of Doctorate Support Group, an online community for Postgraduates and Academics in Malaysia with more than 96k members. Her past work experience includes being the Education Manager for Microsoft Malaysia and an IB Consultant for international schools under the Cambridge Program in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She has been in the education industry for 26 years now and in 2021, she is chosen as one of the recipients for the Facebook Community Accelerator Program to receive coaching and guidance on community building by the META team. She currently lives in Kuala Lumpur with her family and enjoying the digital nomad life as she can work from anywhere.

Assoc. Prof. Zhou Fei (Price Chow) is the President of Shinawatra University, Thailand. He has been working in China for over 20 years in various universities and colleges of HOPE Education Group, the second largest private education group in China, with over 200,000 students over 20 universities and colleges. During his tenure as the Director of Overseas Affairs Department of HOPE Education Group, he participated in acquisitions of several universities and colleges outside China. He also participated in the setup of an overseas education centre in China where there are currently more than 2000 Chinese students and awaiting opportunity to study abroad.

Dr. Hajah Zainab Hj. Mohd Noor is currently the Director for Department of International Affairs (DIA), UiTM Global at Universiti Teknologi MARA(UiTM). She is also a Senior Lecturer and the former Dean of the Faculty of Education, Universiti Teknologi MARA. She lectures on Educational Assessment & Evaluation, Methodologies in TESL and topics on Curriculum Development and Management. As a Certified Master Trainer in OBE-SCL for UiTM, she has trained over 5000 lecturers, using the 6 OBE-SCL Training Modules for IHLs in Malaysia. Dr. Hajah Zainab was one of the top five finalists for the prestigious National Academic Awards (AAN) in 2013. In the same year, she was also the Recipient for the Best Teaching Award in Social Science in UiTM. Her research and innovation has led her to winning several Best Awards and Gold Awards for MTEX (2015), ITEX, IIDEX, IIDE,(2013), IRIE (2014) and the Brussels Eureka Innovation Expo in 2010.

Her interests and research include assessment & feedback for/of learning in higher education, learning engagement of undergraduates and graduate students, curriculum, instruction & assessment, second language learning & instruction, teacher education and test taking strategies in language standardized tests (MUET). Her current involvements at the National level include being a Master Trainer for the Academy for Higher Education, Malaysia (AKEPT). She is also a reviewer to many journals and books. At the international front, she has presented widely in International Educators Conferences and published articles on International Student Mobility, Thriving Partnerships Through Networks, Strategies on Internationalization In Higher Education and recently, On Sustaining Mobility During COVID-19.

Dr Chin is an Honorary Senior Lecturer and Honorary Admissions Tutor (International Students) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Sheffield, UK. He has lectured for over 30 years to undergraduate and postgraduate students in this top rated research led department. Dr Chin also has been the undergraduate admissions tutor for international students for about 15 years. He has extensive experience of the admissions requirements and procedure in UK universities and has detailed knowledge of university entrance qualifications from all over the world. His interdisciplinary research work with other engineers and scientists has informed and enabled him to provide valuable advice to prospective students on their choice of degree programme and career. Dr Chin was the coordinator for the international partnership and twinning programmes for mechanical engineering at Sheffield University.

Dr Bryony Whitmarsh works across the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She is responsible for leading, developing and implementing our global engagement strategies. This includes identifying new opportunities for strategic developments including international recruitment and exchange, international student experience, transnational education arrangements, and global research and innovation initiatives. She is passionate about the importance of global engagement as a dimension of the University’s identity and welcome enquiries from potential partners, across the world.

Dr Atiq ur Rehman holds a PhD in HRD and Certification in PRINCE2 (project management certification). He has over 25 years work experience of working in government, academia and development sector. Dr Atiq has also completed more than 100 consultancy projects, which includes being the Chief Editor of the IDD, an International Journal of Outcome Management (IOCOM). Other key areas that Dr Atiq is involved in are HRD, public sector project management, TVET, gender, capacity mapping, performance management, communication and advocacy, value chain analysis, project M&E, impact evaluation, development of business plans, and startups management. On a different note, Dr Atiq has taught MS and PhD level courses on HRM in SZABIST and Air University Islamabad for about 8 years, and also supervised several MS and one PhD dissertations, while he himself is constantly publishing in international papers.

Dr. Abdallah AlShawabkeh is an Associate Professor in Business Information Systems at the College of Business, Al Ain University, UAE. He completed his Ph.D. in Knowledge Management and Data Mining from the University of Greenwich in London-UK. In 2008, Dr. Abdallah was appointed to the University of Greenwich as a senior lecturer in Business Information and Technology department and took on the additional role of a program director for BA Business administration and BSc Information and Communication Technology. In 2016 Dr Abdallah moved to the UAE and was appointed as the Head of Department – BA Business Administration at Al Ain University. As Head of the BA Business Administration program, he led a large department teaching more than 700 students. In 2017 Dr. Abdallah has been appointed Deputy Dean of the College of Business at Al Ain University. Dr. Abdallah AlShawabkeh's research interest surrounds areas, like Data Mining and Decision Support Systems, Knowledge Management, Information systems management, and Business Intelligence.
